The Queen B aka Beyonce Knowles as we all know has become a success story that most girls look up to or dream about. Anything this woman does has become a huge deal since we’ve heard the young singer in Destiny’s Child. And when it comes to the Queen, the Beyhive is always here for the newest and even oldest music she has performed. I’m counting down the Top 10 most successful songs of Beyoncé’s career.

10: “Run the World (Girls)” (2011) A mixture of different cultures that will literally have you replaying the song hundreds of times during the day. Beyoncé sends a message of four different musical styles, that you hear instantly when you play the song. “Run the World” is a dance hall R&B single that has been influenced by Major Lazer “Pon de Floor”. She portrays an aggressive message to woman all around the world for woman empowerment. The music video is just as worthy of hearing the song. Where she and her backup dancers hit hardcore choreography that you literally can’t get your eyes off of! The single made Top 29 on the U.S. Billboard hot 100 chart.

9: “Naughty Girl” Dangerously in Love (2003) As one of her most sexual content videos and lyrical songs, “Naughty Girl” proves that Beyoncé can pull off the good and bad girl persona. This song gives a vibe of her sensual energy that matches her style. In parts of the songs, she presents disco vibes from lyrics by an old Donna Summer track where she says “love to love you baby”.

8: “Sweet Dreams” I Am…Sasha Fierce (2008) The song “Sweet Dreams” Queen Bey doesn’t hide her feelings towards the sweet dreams that she has for her lover. This was the first track written for this album. She takes her listeners on a ride with her, as she tunes her long lasting vocals. This song was in the Top 10 on the Billboard’s hot 100 chart. With its matching music video to fit the song, these images of her are unforgettable with her gorgeous figure and her intensely hot dancing styles. Also adding many remixes she shows in her choreography.

7: “Baby Boy” feat. Sean Paul Dangerously in Love (2003) “Baby Boy” is one of Beyoncé’s best collaborations with an artist. What makes this song different from her others is the dancehall/Middle Eastern influence she rubs off. Bey sings her passion to be with her “baby boy” and the listeners have more of an intimate feel. Although there are a lot of sensual feelings from her voice to dance moves, everyone wants to get out of their seat and move their hips to this one. As Sean Paul raps his reggae flavor in response to her love for her “baby boy”. This made the chart in the U.S. for nine consecutive weeks.

6: “Irreplaceable” B’Day (2006) At this point of Beyoncé’s career she has made her point that she is not a lady to be messed with. Irreplaceable has been an anthem for many single ladies dealing with a heartfelt break-up. It was originally written from a male’s perspective by the artist Neyo, but as Beyoncé time and time again proves she can turn anything into her own voice. She embodied this song from a woman’s view, where she starts by saying “to the left, to the left” in other words leaving all the negativity and toxic energy from this relationship in the past. This was her best performing track from the B’Day album earning a Grammy, and becoming the best-selling song of 2007 in the United States.

5: “Drunk in Love” feat. Jay Z Beyonce (2013) There is no secret when it comes to Queen B and her hubby’s long lasting relationship. “Drunk in Love” came as a surprise for fans all around the world when she secretly released it. She drove everyone insane once again with her creativity. With its vibe of trap from her husband Jay Z and her R&B elements, it’s a mature version of her song “Crazy in Love” proving the ownership of her sexuality. Followed along with the video where she certainly isn’t afraid to show it. The video instantly went viral where multiple memes were made. The song made top 2 track on the Billboard’s hot 100 chart. And thanks Bey for teaching us what “surfboard” means.

4: “Countdown” (2011) “Countdown” was another one of Beyoncé’s songs where she gives the audience something a little bit more different as far as her vibe. It has a 70’s and 90’s pop sound where the sounds are blended with a Boyz II Men sample. The funky upbeat feeling stays the same as it does most of the time; however she adds more playfulness to this hit. Although she incorporated some 1983 ballet dancing in the video, it suited the lyrics perfectly with its blend of mix and charm, later having many positive reviews from media, and fans.

3: “Halo” I Am…Sasha Fierce (2008) “Halo” is one of the very few songs where Beyoncé expresses her softer side. It is the complete opposite of her typical pop song. In this song, she validates her vulnerability and insecurities to the audiences. This song was co-written by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic fame. Within three hours he helped her create a song in honor to show the two sides of who “Sasha Fierce” is. It became number five on the Hot 100 list, and the tune has been remixed and covered by many other artists.

2: “Single Ladies” (Put a Ring on It) (2009) One thing audiences and fans can say about Beyoncé is that you can always expect a kick ass performance and message, especially when it comes to women empowerment. “Single Ladies” is her singing about being free into the single life as a respected lady. She proves that she doesn’t expect anything less than commitment and monogamy. In her video as always she slays per usual, with two backup dancers in black leotards and heels only. As the three only dance phenomenally in black and white lighting giving it all that they got. And it was certainly a whole lot. Not only has “Single Ladies” become a declaration of female independence, but it has been one of the most selling singles ever.

1: “Crazy in Love” feat. Jay-Z (Dangerously in Love) (2003) Yes we know Beyoncé is still killing it until this day, however, her best song has to be her solo single “Crazy in Love”. This song has proved its standards in all aspects of Queen B, fierce, sexy, sensual, with splashes of R&B, pop, and hip-hop. Not to mention she has defiantly proved from day one her love for Jay. She sells more than nine million copies worldwide, wins two Grammys, and steals the charts for nine straight weeks. Queen B could be in any type of love, dangerously or crazy, either way, the Beyhive knows what to expect, she kills it in either category.
