FITE TV Signs New Deal With MMA Promoters

RFC 36 and KTFO 12 Agree to Stream Events on Free Mobile App  

Tampa, FL (March 14, 2016) – FITE TV, a free mobile app for viewing fighting sports using only your smartphone and TV, announced today that RFC MMA 36 and KTFO 12 events are now available for viewing.

RFC, Tampa, Florida-based Real Fighting Championships, hosted RFC MMA 36: Resurrection on February 26. The event featured two gladiators, Chris Baten and Danny Babcock.  The two battled it out and Babcock ultimately took home the unanimous decision win. Dave “Big Country” Mundell improved his record to 5-0, beating Travis Cox by 1st round TKO. The “Muffin Man” improved his record to 3-1. Female fighters Shino Vanhoose (3-5-0) and Jenny Silverio (4-1-0) battled a hard fought three-round fight in which Silverio won by decision.

KTFO, the premier MMA promotion in New York, hosted KTFO 12 on February 19. The event proved to be the hottest MMA event in the northeast as a sold out crowd saw huge KO’s, submissions and four title fights. The #2 ranked heavyweight in New York, Brett Sanchez, remained undefeated and retained his belt in a unanimous decision win over Massachusetts’s Jonathan Gruber. Fans also witnessed the return of New York’s John Gotti, who defeated Cory Callender in an exciting catchweight fight. The event was commentated by UFC’s undefeated bantamweight star Aljamain Sterling. The next KTFO event is April 30th at The Sports Arena located in St. James, New York and will stream live on FITE TV.
