Impact Wrestling Coverage: Jeff Hardy New #1 Contender

With new #1 contenders for the Knockout and TNA World Heavyweight titles and plenty of drama around both titles, this week’s Impact Wrestling was able to get a lot done in just four matches. At the same time, with a weak No DQ match and a sloppy Knockouts match, the entire show wasn’t nearly as balanced as it could have been.

Matches:

TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money: James Storm and Robert Roode vs. The Bro-Mans: Robbie E. and Jessie Godderz: Beer Money got the win with the DWI, but this was a damn good tag match with plenty of offense. There were plenty of opportunities for E. and Godderz to get the win, but Roode and Storm consistently had the upper-hand. If this is the last we see of Robbie E. and Godderz as a team, it’s a fitting conclusion to this part of their careers.
