Review Fix: How did the band get together?

Thomas Detrez: Originally formed by the drummer andmyself, there have been some changes in the line up of the band. With the arrival of new people the band stabilized itself and our style has become more complex, more complete.  The band is more solid, more mature and we can feel it in our music.

Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?

Detrez: Our guitarists first compose the song.  Then we all add our personal touch. We change some parts if it doesn’t suit everyone,  we add some little details to make it more brutal, catchy or atmospheric. The biggest part is done by the guitarists, but we all work on it. Of course we are inspired by bands we like a lot, but we are careful not to copy them.

Review Fix: What’s your standout song? How was it written?

Detrez: The Shadow Of Our Soul. There is a diversity in the different parts that we like a lot. It transmits deep feelings and violent energy. We chose it for our music video. It was written like the others, following the same process. We composed it like we felt it at the moment, not looking to get a specific result. We really like it!

Review Fix: What are your goals for 2016?

Detrez: We have a european tour planned for June. We are pretty excited about that. We also play gigs all along the year in our area and further places too. We want to play as much as possible to promote our music.

Review Fix: How do you want your music to affect people?

Detrez: We want people to have a good time listening to our songs! Whether at home or live, we want people to enjoy the music, the moment. We want them to feel intense things thanks to our music.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Detrez: We are already considering our next album and how we can make our music evolve. And maybe some videos.
