NXT Takeover Brooklyn II Power Rankings: Nakamura King of NXT

The crowd was nuts and the matches were epic. Check out our NXT Takeover Brooklyn Power Rankings to see who left the brand’s biggest event of 2016 with the most to brag about.

Honorable Mention: Ember Moon: Her win over Billie Kay was expected, but for those who have never seen her live, she put on a solid show with her one-of-a-kind Corkscrew Stunner and adds an extra level of depth to the NXT Women’s Division.

5: Austin Aries: Everyone expected him to win this match, but to have Hideo Itami come out after the match to set up their next feud with an emphatic GTS was awesome. Finally in a big time feud, Aries and Itami will have the spotlight on them.

4: Bobby Roode: Take away his awful new Pumphandle Side Slam Finisher and Roode in NXT has been absolutely glorious thus far in NXT. With some tweaking, Roode can be a huge star in NXT and the WWE.

3: The Revival: The two-time NXT Tag Team Champions successfully defended their titles against the awesome team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, putting any critics opinions of them to rest. They are the best Tag Team in NXT and although they aren’t quite ready for the main roster, there isn’t a tag team in the world they can’t have a good match with.

2: Asuka: Her win over Bayley continues her undefeated streak and makes her an icon in NXT. With no one left in NXT to stand in her way, she’s easily the most dominant champion the promotion has ever had.

1: Shinsuke Nakamura: His match with Samoa Joe was one of the best of the year and proof that Nakamura is the real deal. A legend in Japan, “The King of Strong Style” has been in the US for less than a year and already has singles gold around his waist.
