Review Fix Exclusive: Inside Cornflix’s New Pokemon Go Channel

Review Fix chats with Cornflix TV’s CEO and Founder Ken Ming Lee, who discusses the new video aggregator’s uber-popular “Pokemon Go” channel and what hardcore fans can expect from it in the near future.

Review Fix: How did this channel come to be?

Ken Ming Lee: As Cornflix TV curates and aggregates more than 600 channels featuring the best videos on the internet, with the explosion of the Pokemon Go phenomenon, our team started noticing a huge interest in the increasing number of news, instructional and fan-created videos covering the game. So it was only natural that we created a channel dedicated to Pokemon Go for fans globally to keep up to date will all the latest developments of the game.

Similar to our semi-satirical Trump247 and the #Brexit channels on Cornflix, it’s the video equivalent of a subreddit which our platform supports.

Review Fix: How is all of the content organized?

Lee: For the Pokemon Go channel, the videos are ordered chronologically so that all the breaking and freshest videos are right at the top.

Review Fix: What ideas do you have to make it better?

Lee: We’re thinking about adding some voting features. You’d vote for Mystic, Valor or Instinct, so that the channel is just like another “gym” that you help take for your team by watching. On the other hand, we don’t want to stir up too much excitement. :)

Review Fix: What has the response been like?

Lee: Pretty encouraging as we’re seeing viewers logging in from all 5 continents.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Lee: We’re adding new exciting channels every month, so stay tuned to see what’s in store!

Review Fix: Anything else you’d like to add?

Lee: We’re on the constant lookout for great content, so creators or publishers who would like to get their very own global channel on Cornflix TV can contact us at [email protected].
