WWE RAW Coverage: Lesnar Meows, RAW Sputters

The New Era of RAW continued this week, but unlike last week, there was an absence of sizzle. Even with Brock Lesnar on the show and a wild ending with Randy Orton RKOing “The Beast” outta nowehere, as well as a staredown between Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, there wasn’t that frenetic level of excitement the show needed after a solid show last week.

With no real top of the card champion and a weak opening segment, this week’s RAW never got on track.

If there was ever a RAW to miss, this was one.

Matches:

Enzo Amore and WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair and Chris Jericho: Flair got the win with the Natural Selection after Dana Brooke hit the ring and and caused a distraction. After the match, Jericho hit Amore with the Codebreaker but Colin Cassady hit the ring to send Jericho away.

Braun Strowman vs. Corey Hollis: Strowman got the squash win with the Reverse Chokeslam.

The Shining Stars: Epico and Primo vs. The Golden Truth: Goldust and R-Truth: Goldust held his own while R-Truth played Pokemon Go on the apron. Epic eventually got the win with the Rollup after R-Truth dropped his phone and went to get it, rather than help his partner.

United States Champion Rusev w/Lana vs. Mark Henry: Rusev got a pretty thorough win with the Standing Side Kick and Accolade. After the match Rusev and Roman Reigns locked it up.

Darren Young w/Bob Backlund vs. Titus O’Neil: Young was in control, but O’Neil got the win with the Rollup and a handful of tights.

Mia Jax vs. Arielle Monroe: Jax got the squash win with the Fireman’s Carry Front Slam.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. The WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day: Kofi Kingston and Big E. Langston: Anderson got Rolled Up rather quickly, but The Club beat on all three members of The New Day to send the Tag Team Champions a message.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus: A fun and fast back and forth but Cesaro got the win after a Springboard Elbow and The Neutralizer.

Jinder Mahal vs. Heath Slater: Mahal got the quick win with the Savate Kick to earn a RAW roster spot.

Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins:Zayn was on his game, but after he missed the Helluva Kick, Rollins won with the Pedigree.
