NXT Coverage: Joe Ready For Nakamura in Osaka

Three solid matches and the rise of Tye Dillinger and No Way Jose made sure this week’s episode was an enjoyable one.

Matches:

NXT Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Nicole Matthews: Asuka tried several different submissions, but Matthews wasn’t ready to tap until Asuka latched on the Asuka Lock for the submission win.

Eric Young w/Sanity: Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton vs. No Way Jose:
You gotta love Young’s tenacity. From the Hanging Dragon Sleeper and host of maneuvers that worked on Jose’s neck, Young was in charge. Jose fought back with a nice Clothesline and strikes, but after some interference from Fulton, Young got the win with the Youngblood Neckbreaker.

NXT Champion Samoa Joe vs. Tye Dillinger: This was a PPV-quality match. Dillinger proved he belongs in the upper tier of NXT, but was choked out with the Kokina Clutch.
