TNA Impact Wrestling Coverage: Lashley Reigns Supreme, Again

Six matches and the crowning of a new X-Division Champion paved the way for the best episode of Impact this year. However, with a lack of compelling storylines, the show is still bordering on the mediocre.

Matches:

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley vs. TNA World Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy: Lashley got the win with the Spear, but hit a Powerbomb on the ring steps and withstood all of Hardy’s best maneuvers. After the match, Eddie Edwards hit the ring and challenged Lashley to another match. Lashley gave it to him, but told him if he loses, he goes to the back of the line.

Sienna w/Maria Kanellis vs. Brooke Tessmacher: Brooke dominated, Sienna won with The Silencer.

Falls Count Anywhere: Decay: Abyss and Crazy Steve w/Knockouts Champion Rosemary vs. The DCC: James Storm, Eddie Kingston and Bram: A wild one that Bram won with a Piledriver through a table.

Impact Grand Champion Drew Galloway vs. Rob Ryzin: Galloway got the squash win in round one.

Ladder Match: Trevor Lee w/Shane Helms vs. TNA X-Division Champion Zema Ion: Lee worked on Ion’s leg throughout the match and climbed the ladder and reclaimed the X-Division title.

Ethan Carter III vs. Eli Drake w/Tyrus: Carter won with a Jackknife Cover counter but Tyrus and Drake beat on Carter until the DCC hit the ring and beat on Carter as well.
