
Samoa Joe’s in-ring debut and a card that paved the way for what could be an excellent Fastlane event made sure that this week’s RAW was the best of 2017.
Matches:
Bayley vs. Nia Jax: Bayley was in control throughout until WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair caused a distraction that forced Bayley to walk right into a Samoan Drop that allowed Jax to win.
Braun Strowman vs. Four Jobbers: This was over after Strowman hit the Running Powerslam and stacked his opponents onto one another.
Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak: Tozawa impressed with kicks and won with the Snap German Suplex.
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Sheamus and Cesaro: Sheamus and Cesaro got screwed after Gallows took out Enzo Amore, who was ringside and the match got throw out after Big Cass stood up for his tag team partner.
Primo and Epico vs. The New Day: Xavier Woods and Big E. Langston w/Kofi Kingston: The Shining Stars fought hard, but Woods and Langston won with The Midnight Hour.
Sami Zayn vs. WWE United States Champion Chris Jericho: Thanks to interference from Owens, Jericho won with the Code Breaker.
Six Man Tag: Tony Nese, Noam Dar and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. jack Gallagher, TJ Perkins and Cedric Alexander:Â Neville walked out of the match and Alexander beat Dar with the Lumbar Check.
Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns:Â Interference from Braun Strowman allowed Joe to win with the Swinging Urinage Suplex. After the match, Strowman nailed Reigns with the Running Powerslam, both inside and outside the ring.
