The Mumbai crowd is great, but Impact Wrestling this week was mediocre, thanks to a lack of time spent on the WOmen’s Division, as well as a main event that did nothing to build excitement for the two main event matches at Slammiversary.
Matches:
Sony Six X-Division Match: Trevor Lee vs. Davey Richards vs. Suicide vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Braxton Sutter vs. Matt Sydal: Lots of attention played to The Wolves beating the crap out of one another, but Sydal got the win with the Shooting Star Press on Lee.
Global Force Wrestling Women’s Champion: Sienna and Laurel Van Ness vs. Allie and Knockouts Champion Rosemary: KM and Braxton Sutter got involved in this but Sienna and Van Ness’ teamwork earned them the win as a German Suplex from Sienna and a Curb Stomp from Van Ness put Rosemary away for good.
Kevin Matthews vs. Mahabali Shera: KM got some licks in, but Shera won with the Sky High. After the match, Kongo Kong and KM beat on Shera.
Ethan Carter III and TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley vs. James Storm and Global Force Wrestling Champion Alberto El Patron: The match was awarded to Storm and Patron after EC3 nailed the ref with a belt.
