With wacky appearances from B-list celebrities, matches that told zero stories and a main event that lacked sizzle, this week’s RAW was a disaster that not even Brock Lesnar and Samoan Joe could fix. This show is a disaster and needs to be taken back to formula.
Matches:
Finn Balor and Matt and Jeff Hardy vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus and Elias Sampson: Balor got the win with the Coupe De Grace in a lengthy and uneventful match.
Goldust vs. R-Truth: This match never happened as Goldust beat on Truth before the match started.
Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel w/Maryse vs. Dean Ambrose, Heath Slater and Rhyno: Another disaster that started with Lavar Ball and company and ended with a Bo Dallas Rollup following shenanigans on the outside.
Seth Rollins vs. Curt Hawkins: A squash that saw Rollins win with the Running Knee. After the match, Bray Wyatt continued to talk trash to the Kingslayer.
Cruiserweight Champion Neville vs. Lince Dorado: Neville won easily with the Rings of Saturn and afterward Titus O’Neil hit the ramp and announced Amira Tozawa would face Neville for the gold at Great Balls of Fire.
Gauntlet Match to determine challenge for WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss: Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke vs. Mickie James vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma: Jax defeated everyone and was left to face Banks. Jax dominated for a period, but Banks fought back and won with a modified Bank Statement.
