ROH TV Coverage: The Club Makes a Statement

Three solid matches and promo and storyline development for both of ROH’s singles titles ensured this was an enjoyable episode with little in the way of filler. Truth be told, even Cheeseburger had some role to play this week.

Jonathon Gresham vs. Punishment Martinez: Gresham did everything right but win the match as he locked in several submissions and hit a Shooting Star Press. However, after a Powerbomb on the apron and a Reverse Fireman’s Carry that transitioned in a Reverse Michinoku Driver, Martinez got the win. After the match, Martinez tried to continue the beating, but Jay Wg=hite made the save and hit Martinez with the Urinage Suplex.

Sho and Fo: The Tempura Boyz vs. Cheeseburger and Joey Diesel: Cheeseburger got the surprise win with the Liger Palm Strike, but got destroyed by Will Ferrara after the bell.

Jay and Mark Briscoe and Bully Ray vs. The Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions and New Japan Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks: Matt and Nick Jackson and Hangman Page: The Briscoe and Ray should have won this, but interference from Marty Scurll gave the Club the win.
