Global Force Wrestling Impact Coverage: GFW vs. AAA

Snippets of matches from Mexico hurt the flow of this week’s show, but overall, Impact continues to serve up fresh matchups and keep the flavor intense. It’s still a work in progress, but Impact is slowly coming into its own.

Matches:

#1 Contender’s Match: Johnny Impact vs. KM: Impact got the win with the Disaster Kick and then the Flipping Elbow, but KM impressed with power moves and heel tactics.

Taya Valkyrie vs. Ava Storie: A squash as story sold well and Valkyrie won with the Road to Valhalla. After the match, things get crazy as Gail Kim, Sienna, Rosemary all hit the ring after Valkyrie says she wants the Knockouts Championship.

Pagano and El Hijo Del Fantasma vs. Impact Grand Champion Ethan Carter III and Eddie Edwards: A fun match with plenty of offensive. Fantasma gets the win though after Texano hits the Powerbomb. After the match, the Lucha Underground/AAA team beats on the GFW stars until James Storm gets involved.

Kongo Kong vs. Mahabali Shera: Kong got the win with the top rope Splash in a match that was close the entire way. This feud is far from over.

Texano vs. Johnny Impact: In his second match of the night, Impact worked hard and traded strikes with the former AAA Champion and eventually got the win with the Starship Pain.

GFW Champion Eli Drake w/Chris Adonis vs. Bronse: Drake limited Bronce’s aerial attacks and won with the Gravy Train.
