NXT Coverage: Almas Thriving, Cole & Company Building

It’s hard to argue with five matches and plenty of storyline development. Simply put, NXT continues to develop the stars of tomorrow.

NXT Women’s Title Qualifier: Nikki Cross vs. Liv Morgan vs. Peyton Royce w/Billie Kay: Awesome match with plenty of spots and action. Taynara Contri got involved at the request of The Undisputed Era and cost Nikki Cross an opportunity to win and allowed Royce to win with the Spin Kick and Fisherman Suplex.

Lio Rush vs. The Velveteen Dream: Rush fought hard, but Dream won with the Purple Rain Maker and throughout the match, said Aleister Black will say his name.

Lars Sullivan vs. Danny Burch: Sullivan beat the tough as nails Burch with a monster Clothesline and his Modified Urinage Slam.

The Street Profits: Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford vs. Damien Smith and Marcos Estrada: The Profits got the squash win with the Sky High/Frog Splash combination.

Johnny Gargano vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas w/Zelina Vega: While Gargano dominated, Vega played a role, but this time it just pissed off Gargano more. However, Albas got the win with the Double Knee and Hammerlock DDT for the win.
