Well, The Shield is back and there are plenty of feuds in the middle of the card in RAW and a new Cruiserweight Champion in Kalisto, but something’s still missing. Wait, how about another week without Brock Lesnar and The Universal Championship? It’s like the X-Factor. If this show had someone working an angle for the Universal Title, this would have been a wonderful episode of RAW. As it stands otherwise, it was just, very good.
Matches:
Jason Jordan vs. Karl Anderson w/Luke Gallows: Anderson dominated at times, but Jordan got the clean win with the Belly-To-Back Neckbreaker.
Apollo Crews w/Titus O’Neill vs. Elias Sampson: Crews hit some offense, but Sampson won with the Drift Away.
Matt Hardy vs. Braun Strowman: Hardy hit the Twist of Fate, but Strowman kicked out at one and then won with the Running Powerslam. However after the match, Strowman tried to keep the beating going, but The Shield made the save before Reigns hit the Spear on the ramp and the three put Strowman through the announce table with a Triple Powerbomb.
Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali vs. Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher: Waste of a match, no story told, just a show of strength as Kendrick won with an awful version of the Sliced Bread #2.
Fatal Five Way Elimination to Fight Asuka as TLC: Emma vs. Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox vs. Bayley: This was a total disaster. On top of it, Brooke was awful and dangerous. She missed a routine Scoop Slam and then hit a weird Cartwheel Splash and was eliminated first. Bayley was then next to go. Banks then beat Fox with the Bank Statement, but then Emma sloppily rolled her up for the win.
Lumberjack Match: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto: Things got wild as all the cruiserweight fought amongst themselves and Kalisto Superplexed Enzo to the outside on the entire division. Enzo then hit the Eat Defeat, but Mustafa Ali pulled Amore out before the three fall. Kalisto then hit the Salida Del Sole from the top rope for the win.
