New Tag Team Champions, Pete Dunne and a New Day appearance? This was one of the best episodes of RAW in months, but the puzzling handling of Bayley’s character and another squash match for Asuka left something to be desired.
Matches:
Guitar-on-a-Pole Match: Jason Jordan vs. Elias Sampson: A snoozer that saw Jordan pick up the win after he nailed Sampson with the guitar.
Asuka vs. Stacy Coates: A squash that saw Asuka win via submission with the Asuka Lock. After the match, Alicia Fox announced Asuka would be a part of the RAW Women’s Survivor Series Team.
Titus O’Neil w/Apollo Crews vs. Samoa Joe: This match never happened as Joe took out both O’Neil and Crews on their way to the ring and then issued a challenge to anyone in the back.
Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor: This ended in a Double DQ and will be a war. After it all, Kurt Angle announced both Balor and Joe would be a part of Team RAW.
Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Alicia Fox and Nia Jax: Banks got the win via Banks Statement Tap-Out and was them named to Team RAW, The very woman who made her tap just seconds earlier.
Braun Strowman vs. Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel: Miz was stalling and Strowman was dominating before Kane appeared and the whole thing got thrown out.
Pete Dunne vs. Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore: Dunne got the win thanks to Kalisto’s distraction and the Bitter End. This match made little sense as Dunne should have been able to rip Amore apart limb from limb.
RAW Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus and Cesaro: An appearance from The New Day three a wrench in this match and allowed Sheamus to get the win on Rollins with a Brogue Kick.
