GFW Impact Coverage: Solid Showing Following Redemption

With new Tag Team Champions and a new World Champion following redemption, GFW Impact had some big shoes to fill and luckily for them, stepped up wonderfully with a balanced show that featured plenty of storyline and an engaging main event.

Matches:

Trevor Lee w/Caleb Konley vs. Brian Cage: The Cult of Lee had the numbers game, but Cage won with the Drill Claw, although Lee lasted a bit longer than expected.

Braxton Sutter vs. Moose: Sutter hung in there, but Moose won with the Spear.

Impact Women’s Champion Allie vs. Taya Valkyrie: Best match of the night as these two have good chemistry. Allie got the win with the Super Kick and Codebreaker, but after was ambushed by Su Yung, but Rosemary appeared as well.

GFW Impact Tag Team Champions Scott Steiner and Eli Drake vs. LAX: Santana and Ortiz w/Konnan: Lots of back and forth but Steiner paid dividends and allowed Drake to hit the Top Rope Powerslam for the win.
