Impact Wrestling Coverage: Pentagon Ends Drake’s Gravy Train

Plenty of storyline in the mid-card and a beefy set of matches made this week’s episode of Impact a solid one. So much so that you could say it was better than both RAW and Smackdown. When was the last time you could say that?

Z & E: DJZ and Andrew Everett vs. LAX: Ortiz and Santana: A surprise win as Z was able to counter the Street Sweeper into a Rollup pin.

Rohit Raju vs. Grado w/ Katriana: Raju was dominant, but Grady won with the Running Cannonball in the corner.

X Division Number One Contender Match: Taiji Ishimori vs. Aerostar vs. Drago vs. El Hijo del Fantasma: Lots of spots and fun here as Fantasia won with the Thrill of the Kill.

House of Hardcore Match: Moose vs. Kongo Kong with Jimmy Jacobs: Jacobs got Kong DQed after he hit Moose with a chair, but Moose got the last laugh.

Brian Cage vs. Takashi Sugiura: Not a squash but Cage dominated and won with the Drill Claw.

Impact Wrestling Champion Pentagon Jr. vs. Eli Drake: Lots of taunts and back and forth, but Pentagon got the win with the Pentagon Driver following a counter of the Gravy Train.
