NXT Coverage: When Lars Attacks

Lars Sullivan let everyone know that he’s next to get his shot at the NXT title, but that wasn’t the only noteworthy occurrence on an interesting episode of the WWE’s developmental brand.

Matches:

The War Raiders: Hanson and Rowe vs. George Hickson and Cody Vincent: Total squash as Hanson and Rowe dominated and got the win with the Fallout.

Ethan Carter III vs. Fabian Aichner: Solid back and forth until Johnny Gargano hit the announce table to tell the world he had a contract for another match with Tommaso Ciampa. This caused EC3 to lose it and hit the TK3 on Aichner for the win.

Ricochet vs. Chris Dijack: Ricochet got the hard-fought win over the former ROH standout and after confronted Velveteen Dream outside the ring.

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai: Heck of a match- helluva ending. Kai was riding strong but walked into the Kirifuda Clutch and Baszler retained.

After the match however, Nikki Cross hits the ring and nails Baszler with The Purge and Kai counts to three for a symbolic victory of her own.
