Away from the beginning of the Nia Jax/Ronda Rousey feud, this was a damn lackluster episode of RAW. Wasted segments from Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin and more mediocre spots from Roman Reigns made this another passable week of the WWE’s flagship show.
Matches:
Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens: This was a good back and forth until Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh interfered to get the match thrown out. Soon enough Seth Rollins hit the ring to make it an impromptu tag-team match.
Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal w/Sunil Singh vs. Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins: Mahal nearly beat Rollin with the Gutbuster variation, but he ended up putting away the much more tired Owens with the Curb Stomp. After the match however, Mahal took out Reigns and Rollins with a steel chair.
Alexa Bliss w/Mickie James vs. Ember Moon: Bliss was dominant, but after James got thrown out, Moon hit the Eclipse for the win.
No Way Jose vs. Baron Corbin: Jose stood tall, but Corbin put him away with the End of Days.
Breezango: Tyler Breeze and Fandango vs. The B-Team: Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas: Another surprise win from Axel and Dallas make them the Cinderella team in a division that is in desperate need of a shakeup.
Chad Gable vs. Dolph Ziggler w/Drew McIntyre: Gable hung in there, but Ziggler got the win with the Super Kick and after the match, McIntyre hit the Claymore for the statement.
Fatal Four-Way Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier: Sarah Logan vs. Liv Morgan w/Ruby Riott vs. Nattie Neidhart vs. Dana Brooke: Logan was the star of this match, hitting a plethora of strikes, but Nattie got the win after a Discus Lariat and the Sharpshooter.
Bobby Roode vs. Elias Sampson: Roode was in charge until Elias snuck in the Drift Away for the win.
Finn Balor vs. Braun Strowman:Â This was a war, but Strowman fought hard and was able to get the win with the Running Powerslam.
