Impact Wrestling Coverage: Swann Debuts, Callihan and Pentagon Jr. Killin’ It

The debut of the Design Hit Squad and Rich Swann, as well as the drama between Sami Callihan and Pentagon Jr. fueled a fun episode of Impact that had a solid pace.


Rich Swann vs. Trevor Lee: A good first match for Swann in Impact, as he hit the Reverse Frankensteiner, followed by the Corkscrew Phoenix 450 from the second rope.

Desi Hit Squad: Rohit Raju and Gursinder Singh w/ Gama Singh vs. Zema Ion and Andrew Everett: After Gama distracted the referee, Gursinder had a handful of tights in the Rollup of Everett.

Dezmond Xavier vs. Matt Sydal: Xavier was in control but Sydal hit his Pump-Handle Driver variation for the win. After the match, Kongo Kong hit the ring, but Brian Cage made the save, before Sydal nailed him with the X-Division title and Kongo finished him off with the Splash.

Madison Rayne vs. Tessa Blanchard: Rayne got the win with the Crucifix, but after the match, Su Yung hit the ring to support Blanchard, before Allie cleared the ring to end the show.
