Impact Wrestling Coverage: Don’t Cross Kross

A slew of great matches and another Killer Kross appearance, as well as the development of several key storylines again made sure that Impact was a well-paced evening of wrestling action. Make no mistake, this week’s episode was better than RAW and even though many of the performers were more indie than Superstars, the heart and production values continue to prove that Impact has a plethora of potential.

Matches:

Desi Hit Squad: Gursinder Singh and Rohit Raju w/Gama Singh vs. Taiji Ishimori and Petey Williams: Williams sold for most of the match, but a Canadian Destroyer and a nice DDT variation from Ishimori got the team the win.

Alisha Edwards vs. Tessa Blanchard: This was a squash as Blanchard won with the Hammerlock DDT and called out Allie afterward.

Matt Sydal vs. Pentagon Jr.: Sydal worked on Pentagon’s leg, but it wasn’t enough. A Package Piledriver got the Lucha Underground Champion the win.

Eddie Edwards vs. Impact World Champion Austin Aries: This was an evenly-matched war, until Killer Kross hit the ring and nailed Edwards with the Saito Suplex, allowing Aries to hit the Brainbuster for the win.
