NXT Coverage: Takeover Brooklyn Build Heating Up

Five matches and plenty of storyline development made for an excellent episode of NXT this week as the Takeover Brooklyn card takes shape.

Amber Nova vs. Nikki Cross: A squash that saw Cross win with the Three-Handled Credenza.

Kassius Ohno vs. Adrian Jauode: Ohno won with the KO Elbow.

Keith Lee vs. Marcel Barthel: Another squash that saw Lee win with the Pounce and a Fireman’s Driver.

Mae Young Classic Qualifing Match: Taynara Conti vs. Vanessa Bourne: Conti got the win with the Front Slam variation following a slew of Judo maneuvers.

Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano: A no- contest as Tommaso Ciampa got involved. By the time it was over, NXT GM William Regal announced Ciampa would defend the NXT title in a triple threat match at Takeover against Black and Gargano.
