WWE RAW Coverage: Shield Eliminated

The decimation of The Shield, “return” of Kevin Owens and a slew of solid matchups, as well as appearances from Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, made this week’s episode of RAW one that built on last week, but they’ve still got a way to go to get this show to the point where it’s exciting every week.

Matches:

Nikki and Brie Bella vs. The Riott Squad: Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan w/Ruby Riott: Riott helped with interference, but a Suicide Dive from Brie and the Rack Attack 2.0 on Morgan gave the Bellas the win.

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs. The Ascension: Viktor and Konnor: Gable did the majority of the heavy lifting, beating Viktor with a Rolling, Bridging German Suplex.

Alexa Bliss w/Alicia Fix and Mickie James vs. Natalya Neidhart w/RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey: Bliss beat Natalya with Rousey’s Arm Bar and then managed to get a few shots in on Rousey after the bell before Rousey got rid of her.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre vs. The B-Team: Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel: Axel and Dallas were supremely outclassed as Axel got destroyed with the Claymore-Zig Zag to give the heels the straps.

The Authors of Pain: Rezar and Akam w/Drake Maverick vs. Keith Thompson and Jimmy James: With their new manager by their side, Akam and Rezar doomed the indie team with the Super Collider.

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Ember Moon and Dana Brooke w/Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews: Crews and O’Neil cost Brooke the match as Banks won with a Rollup. After the match, it appeared Brooke is done with Titus Worldwide.

Braun Strowman vs. Finn Balor: Strowman won with a Running Powerslam and just when it appeared “The Pack” was going to beat on Balor, The Shield made the save, to only be destroyed by a hearty helping of RAW roster heels.
