A week after one of the most shocking RAWs in years, the mediocre writing and filler cards reared their ugly heads once again in a mediocre RAW before Crown Jewel. Away from the drama between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, this was an entirely passable episode of RAW.
Matches:
Finn Balor vs. Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush: Balor got the win via DQ after Rush threw Balor off the top rope. After the bell, Lashley beat on Balor and put him in the Full Nelson.
Trish Stratus, Lita, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya Neidhart vs. The Rios Squad: Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan and Alicia Fox and Mickie James w/Alexa Bliss: Lots of star power, zero storyline implications. It was a waste. Neidhart got the win with the Sharpshooter on Fox.
Elias Sampson vs. Jinder Mahl w/Sunil Singh: Sampson fought through the early onslaught and won with the Drift Away.
Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs. The Ascension: Viktor and Konnor vs. The Authors of Pain: Akam and Rezar w/Drake Maverick: Gable and Roode beat Viktor with the Rolling German Suplex/Neckbreaker Combination, but Akama and Rezar ended up destroying everyone after the bell.
Nia Jax vs. Ember Moon: Jax got the win with the Leg Drop, but Tamina Snuka hit the ring and looked like she wanted a piece.
The Lucha House Party: Lince Dorado and Kalisto w/Gran Metalik vs. The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder: Kalisto got the surprise win with the Salida Del Sole.
Dolph Ziggler w/Drew McIntyre vs. Apollo Crews: Ziggler got the win after he countered the Frog Splash with his Knees and ended it with the Super Kick.
