205 Live Coverage: A Rare Letdown

Three decent matches, but a lack of real storyline development hurt what could have been an excellent episode of 205 Live. After Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali stole the show at Survivor Series, you’d expect the Cruiserweights coming out firing on all cylinders. That sadly did not happen.

Noam Dar vs. Tony Nese w/WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy: Dar could have won, but interference from Murphy allowed Nese to score the win.

The Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa vs. Jobbers: Kendrick and Tozawa destroyed these guys. A waste of time.

Gran Metalik vs. TJ Perkins: TJP tried to use a piñata, but Metalik got the win anyway. After the match, Kanellis took out the Lucha House Party with a steel chair.
