205 Live Coverage: New Faces Can’t Beat Murphy

The debut of Humberto Carrillo made for a solid episode of 205 Live, but Buddy Murphy is in another league. Maybe with creative actually tried to build Carrillo up before the match, you know, wrestling 101, the show could have been even better.

Lince Dorado vs. Lio Rush: A slower than expected match that finally puts Rush in a real feud. The Man of the Hour scored the pinfall with the Frog Splash. After the match, he attacked Dorado but the Golden Lynx was saved by his amigos.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy vs. Humberto Carrillo: Murphy got the win with Murphy’s Law, but faked an injury to get the advantage. Definitely a good showing from Carrillo.
