Mark Ambuter “Love Is Everywhere” Review: Far Out

Seemingly ripped straight out of the hippie era, “Love Is Everywhere” by Mark Ambuter is the kind of track that restores your faith in the world. It’s a simple song with a clear message, “all is beautiful, and love is everywhere.” Featuring instruments such as sitar and flute, it wouldn’t have felt out of place on a trippy Beatles’ B-side. And of course, was written while the British legends were tripping on something and talking about peace and love.

Ambuter’s soft vocal delivery works well with the music. The strummy guitar, playful flute, and twangy sitar play off of each other in a bouncy manner. You can’t help but tap your foot along and get lost in the positive vibes.

Ambuter himself said that this is a throwback to his favorite era of music, the British Invasion.

If anything, the themes explored in the song are a cheerful reminder that the world isn’t such a dark and scary place. Especially when you have the companionship of a few friends by your side; It’s easy to picture yourself sitting under a shady tree on a warm summer day with some good pals, and this track playing in the background. The gleeful nature of the anthem is infectious. It’s hard not to smile when listening to it.

“Love Is Everywhere” is a clear love letter to the psychedelic music of the ’60s and ’70s. It couldn’t get much more on the nose. If you enjoy “Magical Mystery Tour” era Beatles, you’ll like this track. It’s got the same warm and fuzzy quality to it that made songs like “I Am The Walrus,” and “All You Need Is Love,” so popular.

If you had to describe Ambuter’s single in three words, the perfect answer would be, “far out, man.”
