WWE RAW Coverage: Balor vs. Lesnar Confirmed

With Braun Strowman out as the challenger to Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble and Finn Balor in, as well as th debuts of Heavy Machinery, Ethan Carter III and Nikki Cross, this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was certainly more dicey than usual.

Matches:

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka: While Rousey and Banks got along in the ring as Banks won via Submission with the Bank Statement, they argued after the match.

The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder vs. The Lucha House Party: Kalisto and Gran Metalik w/Lince Dorado: Payback for last week as Dawson got the win with the DDT, although Metalik’s leg was under the ropes.

Bayley, Nattie Neidhart and Nikki Cross vs. The Riott Squad: Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan: This match was entirely too long, but Cross starred before Bayley won with the Top Rope Elbow.

Jinder Mahal w/Sunil Singh vs. Finn Balor: Another lengthy encounter, but a gutsy match that saw Balor fought adversity and win with the Coup De Grace.

Intercontinental Champion: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley w/ Lio Rush: Thanks to help from Lio Rush, Lashley won the IC Title with a Spear on Ambrose.

Winner Gets Universal Title Shot at Royal Rumble: Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin vs. John Cena vs. Drew McIntyre: In a wild match with plenty of offense, Balor was able to hit the Coup De Grace on Cena to get the win and the shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at Royal Rumble.
