WWE RAW Coverage: Seth/Dean Rivalry Continues, Gene Gets Tribute

A touching tribute to Mean Gene Okerlund from Hulk Hogan and a slew of excellent matches and the promise of new faces made the first RAW of 2019 a special one.

John Cena, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush and Drew McIntyre: This felt like a Survivor Series match. Tons of finishers and offense as Rollins picked up the win on Ambrose with the Stomp on a counter of the Dirty Deeds.

Lumberjack Match: The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: Chad Gable and Bobby Roode: Gable got the win with an Inside Cradle, but Dawson’s foot was under the rope.

Baron Corbin vs. Elias: Corbin got a much-needed win with the End of Days after some fun with the turnbuckle and Elias’ shoulder.

Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox with the Singh Brothers vs. Apollo Crews and Ember Moon: Moon hit the Eclipse for the win.

#1 Contenders Match: Nia Jax w/Tamina Snuka vs. Sasha Banks: After some drama on the outside, Banks got the surprise submission win.

Falls Count Anywhere: Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins: Ambrose got the win with the Dirty Deeds, thanks to interference from Bobby Lashley.
