ROH TV Coverage: Face Heavy

ROH is flaccid. ROH is vanilla. Two mediocre matches and zero heel action made for an episode that proves this company is in desperate need of some new creative energy.


Madison Rayne vs. Sumie Sakai vs. Jenny Rose: Slow, clanky opener that saw Rayne dominate as she took out Rose with a Diamond Cutter and got the win on Sakai with the Reverse DDT.

Life Blood: Juice Robinson, Mark Haskins, David Finally, Bandido and David Finlay w/Tanille Dashwood vs. ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb, Dalton Castle w/The Boys, Jonathan Gresham and Flip Gordon: Lots of posturing here. This was Lifeblood’s way to prove that they could hang in the ring with ROH’s best, but it was boring as hell. Haskins eventually won with the modified Cloverleaf on Castle.
