WWE RAW Coverage: Ronda’s Revenge

The influx of NXT talent on RAW was fun, but it didn’t solve the ton of problems the show has. Lengthy matches, poor promo and a horrid pace, RAW’s troubles continue.

Matches:

Tables Match: Baron Corbin vs. Braun Strowman: 20-minute match that saw Corbin dominated until Strowman turned the tables on thanks to the ring steps and then a Powerslam through a table.

Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor and Ricochet vs. Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush: The One and Only got the win with the 630 on Rush in an entertaining but lengthy bout.

Zack Ryder ad Curt Hawkins vs. The Lucha House Party: Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik w/Kalisto: Hawkins’ struggles continued as Dorado beat him with a Hurricanrana.

(Non-Title) DIY: WWE North American Champion Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder: Wow. Although The Revival was solid, Chiampa and Gargano met in the middle and took down Dawson for the surprise win.

Dean Ambrose vs. Drew McIntyre: The former NXT Champion got the win after two Claymores.

Elias Sampson vs. Aleister Black: Sampson was too busy pandering to the crowd that he walked right into The Black Mass.

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Ruby Riott w/Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan: Riott nearly won with the Riott Kick, but Rousey fought back and won with the Arm Bar. After the match, Rousey destroyed the Riott Squad too.
