205 Live Coverage: Nese’s Time?

The end of the Cruiserweight #1 Contender’s Tournament and the development of a few other storylines made this week’s episode of 205 a solid one.

Mike Kanellis w/Maria Kanellis vs. Akira Tozawa: Kanellis was dominant and won with the Rolling Cutter.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Finals: Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese: A near half-hour match that could have gone either way. Definitely shades of the Cruiserweight Classic. After Nese kicked out of the Lumbar Check, he hit the Running Knee for the win. After the match, Buddy Murphy hit the ring to congratulate his friend, but soon took him out with a Knee of his own.
