Impact Wrestling Coverage: Impact Turns Heel

Johnny Impact’s heel turn to end the show this week finally gives the Champion some creative room and the promotion a clearer vision for the future. As a result, this was the best episode of Impact in months.


Sami Callihan and oVe: Jake & Dave Crist vs. Impact X-Division Champion Rich Swann, Willie Mack and Tommy Dreamer: Lots of offense in a  fun opener that saw Callihan dominate Dreamer and win via Foley Driver.

Glenn Gilbertti vs. Kikutaro: Disco dominated and won with The Last Dance.

Reno Scum: Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend vs. KM and Fallah Bahh: Decent back and forth that Bahh finished with the Samoan Drop.

#1 Contender’s Match for Knockouts Championship: Tessa Blanchard vs. Jordynne Grace: Blanchard dominated until Grace hit the Grace Driver of of nowhere for the win.

Eddie Edwards and Eli Drake vs. Desi Hit Squad: Rohit Raju and Raj Singh w/ Gama Singh: Drake and Edwards finally worked together and won after Edwards nailed Raju with the kendo stick.
