NXT UK Coverage: Ohno Rises

A big announcement and a few strong matches made an excellent episode of NXT UK this week. 

Matches: 

Eddie Dennis vs. Ligero: Ligero got his licks in but a game Dennis had the Leedensian Luchadore’s number, pinning him with a Neck Stomp Driver.

Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley vs. The Hunt (“Wild Boar” Mike Hitchman and Primate): Stoker and Howley were easy pickings for the newly christened team of Primate and Wild Boar.

Kassius Ohno vs. Ashton Smith:  Ohno took some rough shots, but in the end, a Ripcord Elbow to the back of the head would put Smith down for three. 

Tyler Bate vs. James Drake: The match dragged a bit at first, but eventually, Bate fired up and stepped on the gas pedal. From there it was back and forth until the inaugural UK Champ hit a Spiral Tap to seal the deal.
