How to Play: Monopoly Slots

America’s favorite board game meets exciting Las Vegas slots to bring you Monopoly Slots. It’s a dedicated social gaming app where you’ll feel like a mogul as you make your way to fame and fun.

The Basics

Monopoly Slots is a 5-reel, 15-payline slot machine game, on par with slots in the best live casinos. Your aim in the game is to win tokens by creating winning combinations, advance your mover and land on properties, and win in the bonus games.

You can play anywhere from one to fifteen paylines, but the more the better. Placing a bet is easy, you just have to select the number of paylines on which you’d like to play by pressing ‘Select Lines’. Next, use the ‘Bet Per Line’ button to select the number of tokens you’d like to bet on each line.

The betting range is 1-10 on each active payline. If you want to bet the maximum amount possible, just press the ‘Bet Max’ button. Your total bet is the number of active paylines multiplied by the number of tokens bet on each line.

Lining up any combination of reel symbols found in the Paytable on any active payline results in you winning tokens. However, winning combinations must form from left to right on reels next to each other and should begin from the left-most reel. The awards listed in the Paytable are then multiplied by the winning payline bet.

The Paytable has six symbol combinations — the Monopoly logo, diamonds, K, Q, J, and 10. These are in descending order of payouts, and they increase almost exponentially as you go up the Paytable.

The role of dice

You may already have been familiar with whatever you’ve read until now — every standard slot game has pretty much the same mechanics. So what is it that makes Monopoly Slots stand out: the die symbols.

Apart from the symbols mentioned in the Paytable, the reels can sometimes show die symbols. If you get any two die symbols on the screen, a dice roll will be triggered. Your mover will then proceed on the board according to the outcome of the dice roll outcome. Rolling doubles will give another roll. However, beware of too many doubles as rolling them three times in a row will land you in Jail.

Bonuses

The board game that proceeds according to the dice roll offers two types of bonuses: individual bonuses and community bonuses.

Individual Bonuses are gained from properties, railroads, utilities, and the Free Parking space. If you land on a property, you’ll be awarded the number of tokens associated with the property. All railroad properties give 200 tokens. Utility properties like the Electric Company and Water Works reward the token amount equivalent to your dice roll.

Community bonuses are triggered by landing on either the Community Chest space or the Chance space. Landing on the Community Chest space will prompt you to choose between three cards, and all the players in the room will be rewarded with the number of tokens on the chosen card.

The Chance space also gives an option to choose between three cards, but it is riskier. You can either get a reel spin multiplier that multiplies everyone’s winnings in the next spin, or you can get the Jail card and go to jail, alone.
