Gallus’s quest to rule NXT UK with an Iron fist gained some steam this week as they became the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions. The UK division cooled down since TakeOver: Cardiff but things are finally heating up again.
Matches:
Ilja Dragunov vs. Saxon Huxley: Alexander Wolfe made an appearance halfway through the match, but a focused Dragnunov paid him no mind. Unbesiegbar manhandled Huxley and put him away with Torpedo Moscow. After the bell, Imperium’s music hit for Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel who stared down Dragunov on his way to the back.
Imperium: Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner vs. The Hunt: Wild Boar and Primate: Wild Boar and Primate hit the tandem Diving Headbutts, but Barthel pulled Primate out of the ring before the three-count. Imperium Capitalized with a European Bomb to score the win.
Nina Samuels vs. Xia Brookside: Samuels underestimated Brookside and got rolled up for three.
NXT UK Tag Team Championship Match: Gallus: Mark Coffey and Wolfgang vs. The NXT UK Tag Team Champions: Mark Andrews and “Flash†Morgan Webster: The Welshman fought valiantly. But the boys from Glasgow cut their reign short with an Enzugiri/ Powerslam combo.
