NXT UK Coverage: Bombs Away

NXT UK’s first episode of the new year saw a No DQ grudge match between “Unbesiegbar” Ilja Dragunov and Alexander Wolfe. This rivalry had been building for quite some time and it finally came to a head.

Matches:

“Bomber” Dave Mastiff vs. Kona Reeves: The big man from the Black Country made the Finest look like a goon by flattening him with Into the Void.

Kassius Ohno vs. Ligero: Ohno dropped the “Knockout Artist” moniker and forced Ligero to tap to the Kassius Clutch. He proceeded by calling out the entire NXT UK locker room.

Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith vs. The Outliers: Riddick Moss and Dorian Mak: Mak tried to break up a Roll-Up by Smith to Moss but couldn’t get there in time.

No Disqualification Match: Ilja Dragunov vs. Alexander Wolfe: The two men went to war and absolutely demolished each other. Wolfe used a chair in a particularly creative way to destroy Unbesiegbar’s hands. In the end, though, Dragunov scored the win with Torpedo Moscow. After the match, the rest of Imperium hit the ring to teach the Russian a lesson about crossing them but Joe Coffey hit a drive-by Discus Lariat.
