AEW Dynamite Results: Cody Ready For Anything

Even without a crowd, the AEW locker room pulled no punches tonight. If there was an audience, they would have been on the edges of their seat all night long.

Matches:

“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer vs. Alan Angels: It seems like it’s going to take an act of god to stop the Murderhawk Monster. After toying with his prey he scored the win with the Blackout.

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. Hikaru Shida: Shida had beat Baker until her nose bled and it was still a close one. But a Running Knee finally put the dentist down for three.

Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor w/ “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. AEW World Tag Champion: Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa: Nak pulled out every trick he could think of but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Omega couldn’t make the save in time after Best Friends hit Strong Zero for the pinfall victory.

Lee Johnson vs. “The Exalted One” Brodie Lee: Lee took Jordan’s head off with a Discus Lariat to put the squash to bed.

TNT Championship Tournament Quarterfinals Match: “The Chairman” Shawn Spears vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody w/ Brandi Rhodes: Cody got bruised and battered like he does, then made the big babyface comeback to pin Spears with a Figure Four Leglock.
