AEW Dynamite Results: Spears a Betting Man

The opening match of the night was Pay Per View Main Event quality, and it was a shame it couldn’t happen in front of a full crowd. Along with the in-ring debut of Lance Archer shows that no matter the circumstance, AEW continues to provide the best product they can.

Matches:

Trent w/ Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy vs. AEW Tag Team Champion: Kenny Omega: These two brawled like they’ve hated each other for years. This was the kind of match that would have set the crowd on fire if there was one. After going for 19 minutes, Omega finally found the One Winged Angel to put Trent away.

Hikaru Shida vs. Anna Jayy: Shida planted Jayy with a Falcon Arrow to add onto her winning ways in AEW.

Marko Stunt vs. “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer: The AEW matchmaker must hate Stunt, but the guy was all heart in this David vs. Goliath bout. After playing with his food for a few minutes, Archer hit a modified Crucifix Bomb to put the match to bed. It wasn’t enough carnage for the Murderhawk, because he decided to throw Stunt from the apron into the Gunn Club and Orange Cassidy beyond the barricade

Eight and Nine vs. The Natural Nightmares: QT Marshall and “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes w/ Brandi Rhodes: The nameless Dark Order members fell to an assisted Cutter by the Natural Nightmares, only for “the Exalted One” Brodie Lee to hit the ring and Powerbomb his own subordinate.

Sammy Guevara and “The Chairman” Shawn Spears vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody and Darby Allin: Allin ate the pinfall when he pulled a chair away from Spears only to be distracted by Guevara, allowing the Chairman to roll him up for three.
