AEW Dynamite Results: The Natural Shines

The Quarterfinal matches for TNT Championship Tournament started and ended the show on a high note with a few filler matches in between. 

Matches: 

AEW TNT Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match: “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin: Guevara caught Allin out of midair and went for the Torture Rack Knee, but the Relentless One was a little too quick. He rolled up the Spanish God with Figure Four pin he calls the Last Supper to advance to face Cody in the Semifinals.

AEW Tag Team Champion: Kenny Omega vs. Alan Angels: Angels got a few licks in until Omega rocked him with the V-Trigger for the pinfall victory. 

Jimmy Havoc vs. “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy w/ Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor: Despite interference from Penelope Ford, Cassidy got the win with a roll up, but paid the price in the form of a beatdown after the bell. 

Lee Johnson vs. Wardlow: Wardlow decided to end the match after a few minutes of brutality with the Airplane Spin Toss.

Justin Law vs. “The Exalted One” Brodie Lee: Lee turned Law inside out with a Discus Lariat to put the match to bed.

AEW TNT Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match: “Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes w/ Brandi Rhodes: Ford tried to get involved in a match for the second time tonight but was thwarted by Brandi, allowing Dustin to advance to the Semifinals with the Code Red to face Lance Archer.
