Five Underrated NES Sports Games

With pretty much every sport in full swing, Old School Gamer Magazine figures, why not enjoy a game of your favorite sport? And why not do it on a retro console? Here’s our list of five great sports games you might have overlooked on the NES.

Pro Sport Hockey: It’s not the best hockey game on the NES, but with an NHLPA license, it’s the closest you’ll ever get to the real thing on a Nintendo Entertainment System.

Roger Clemens MVP Baseball: LJN gets a bad rap on their licensed games, but this one, even without an MLB-approval, is a solid title. Although the fielding view takes a bit of getting used to, it’s an enjoyable baseball game that grows on you.
