Review Fix Exclusive: Stone Sea’s Elvis Suhadolnik Bonesso Talks Goals And More

Review Fix chats with Elvis Suhadolnik Bonesso – Singer/Guitarist from Stone Sea, who discusses the band’s origin and goals for the future.

Review Fix: How did the project start?

Elvis Suhadolnik Bonesso: The band originally started in with Elvis in Brazil, 2014. In 2015 the band released the first album “Origins” and right after Elvis moved to Ireland where he reformed the band and recorded the EP’s “Vaporizer” and “Mankind Maze”. Now, this encarnation of the band came together last year around June (2019).

Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?

Bonesso: Everything comes naturally, if we force ideas to come out the mind blocks the creativity straight away. When you’re just jamming or even doing nothing with an empty mind creativity just flows through. Don’t try writing a song, let the song writes itself.

Review Fix: What’s your standout song? How was it written?

Bonesso: It’s a bit hard to say once we’re not a big band, we got some songs that stand out in different ways, for different people. I think when released “Peace at Ease” was a big one, people liked it a lot and I could hear people mumbling the song all around.

The voice melody came before and I recorded it in my phone, so when I was many days by myself in Italy around 2016/17 I started to go through these old ideas I recorded to see if I could develop anything. I came across Peace at Ease’s melody which sticked so much into my head in a good way; it’s a positive song. The whole lyrics came naturally that very day.

Review Fix: What are your goals for 2020?

Bonesso: We’re currently working on a new album that we are hoping to release towards the end of the year. Let’s say this album may be followed by a tour or not, you should keep an eye on our social media for updates.

Review Fix: How do you want your music to affect people?

Bonesso: We want them (people) to take inspirations, to take actions according to what they feel. We want our music to help people get through hard times as well as we want to participate on the good times. We wanna be part of the whole life’s atmosphere.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Bonesso: Our next stop is finishing the compositions of this new album and hit the road, Jack. Can’t wait.
