AEW Dark Results: Beefy

This week was another super-sized episode of Dark and like last week, dragged a bit. However, as usual, the action was crisp and let a handful of newcomers strut their stuff.

Matches:

The Natural Nightmares: QT Marshall and “the Natural” Dustin Rhodes w/ Brandi Rhodes vs. Dark Order: Alex Reynolds and John Silver: The Natural Nightmares got the win with a Canadian Destroyer followed by a Diamond Cutter newly bestowed upon Marshall by DDP.

Michael Nakazawa vs. Brandon Cutler: Cutler can’t catch a break in AEW. The brawl spilled to the outside and Nakazawa made in before the count of ten, but Cutler was just short.

“The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “the Librarian” Leva Bates vs. Jungleboy w/ Jurassic Express: Marko Stunt and Luchasaurus: Jungleboy tied the Librarian up in a modified STF he calls the SGS to force Avalon to tap.

“The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. Serpentico: Daniels put his opponent away with a clean Best Moonsault Ever. It seems like the Fallen Angel has a new-found swagger.

John Skyler and Brady Pierce vs. “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela and “the Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss: Janela dropped an elbow on Skylar to put another mark in the win column.

Tony Donati and Faboo Andre vs. Jimmy Havoc and “Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford: Sabian cracked Donati with a Missile Dropkick to the back of his head while Havoc had him ready for a Michinoku Driver for the pinfall victory.

Grim vs. Wardlow w/ MJF: Grim put up more of a fight than any other to step in the ring with Mr. Mayhem but fell just the same when Wardlow knocked him out with a knee to the face.

Lee Johnson vs. “Boom Boom” Colt Cabana: Cabana locked Johnson in a reverse Walls of Jericho for another win in AEW.

Kilynn King vs. Penelope Ford w/ “Superbad” Kip Sabian: The Superbad Girl dropped the newcomer with a back handspring Cutter.

“The Captain” Shawn Dean and Alan Angels vs. Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor w/ “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy: Angels and Dean continue to impress but Best Friends would cut them down with a cocky Strong Zero.
