AEW Dynamite Results: Cody Wants Blood

Dynamite opened up with Cody crashing Dynamite with his Ford F150 and brawling with Lance Archer to try and get payback for putting hands on his Brandi Rhodes last week. Cody eventually forced the Murderhawk Monster to back down before Double or Nothing in two weeks.

Matches:

Jurassic Express: Jungleboy and Luchasaurus w/ Marko Stunt vs. Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor w/ “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy: The two teams were going at it when Rey Fenix came out of nowhere to kick Cassidy in the back of the head. MJF followed suit and drove Jungleboy’s head into the post and fed him to Chucky T who was waiting with an Awful Waffle and the cover.

Fatal Four Way Match: “Superbad” Penelope Ford w/ “Superbad” Kip Sabian vs. Kris Statlander vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. Hikaru Shida: Baker cared more about torturing Statlander with the Lockjaw than winning the match. Shida took the opportunity to put her knee through Ford’s face to earn the win.

Santana and Ortiz vs. AEW World Tag Team Champion: Kenny Omega and “Broken” Matt Hardy: Omega delivered a V Trigger to Ortiz while he was sitting on the top rope and Hardy followed up with Twist of Fate from the second turnbuckle to score the pinfall victory.

MJF w/ Wardlow vs. Lee Johnson: Friedman hit a modified Shoulder Breaker and locked in a Fujiwara Armbar to force Johnson to tap.

Suge D aka Pineapple Pete vs. Chris Jericho w/ Inner Circle: Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara, and Jake Hager: Pete ate a quick Judas Effect to remind everyone just how dangerous Le Champion really is. After the bell, Jericho destroyed Vanguard One with his new baseball bat Floyd, the sixth member of the Inner Circle.

“The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels w/ SCU: Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky vs. “the Exalted One” Mr. Brodie Lee w/ the Dark Order: Not even Angel’s Wings and a BME were enough to keep Lee down. The Exalted One found an opening and decapitated Daniels with a Discus Lariat. Mox hit the ring in pursuit of hit title belt but only got his hands on a lowly Creeper. Mox called Lee out to close the show.
