AEW Dynamite Results: Best Friends 4-Life

Fyter Fest is almost here and the hype is here thanks to a great episode of Dynamite this week. Orange Cassidy got a huge pop when he beat down Le Champion to close the show.

Matches:

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: AEW World Tag Team Champions: Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page vs. The Natural Nightmares: QT Marshall and “the Natural” Dustin Rhodes w/ Brandi Rhodes: Allie came out to support Marshall but was only a distraction. QT got caught with the Last Call for Page and Omega to retain their titles.

“The Star of the Show” Anna Jay vs. Abadon:  Abadon took the opportunity to spike Jay’s head into the mat with a kneeling Hurricanrana and win the match. After the bell, Dark Order made an appearance to make an offer to Colt Cabana at ringside and help Jay to the back.

MJF w/ Wardlow vs. Billy w/ Austen and Colton Gunn: Friedman used the Dynamite Diamond Ring to KO Billy and steal the win. After the bell, he antagonized Jurassic Express and a brawl broke out at ringside.

TNT Championship Open Challenge: “Absolute” Ricky Starks vs. The TNT Champion: “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes w/ Arn Anderson: The newcomer had an impressive showing, throwing the Champ all he could handle. However, Cody would find the CrossRhodes to retain his TNT Championship.

Superbad Squad: Jimmy Havoc and “Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford vs. The Young Bucks: Nick and Matt Jackson: The Bucks compressed Sabian’s skull between their knees with a Kamagoye to score the pinfall victory. Butcher and Blade tried to jump the Jacksons after the bell but FTR made the save and the two teams stared each other down.

Le Sex Gods: Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho vs. Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor: Trent dropped Guevara with an Awful Waffle to secure the win against Le Sex Gods. Orange Cassidy surprised Jericho and got some revenge for the beating he took last week. Now its Cassidy vs. Jericho at Fyter Fest.
