AEW Dynamite Results: Jungle Boy A Star in the Making

Dynamite was stacked this week with two title bouts. All the matches were solid to excellent, but we were also treated to some riveting promo segments. Who knows if Mox can stop the Machine come Fyter Fest?

Matches:

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: “Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford and Jimmy Havoc vs. the AEW Tag Team Champions: “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega: The Brits threw everything they had at the Champs until Havoc was beheaded with the Last Call V-Trigger/ Buckshot Lariat combination. 

“The Machine” Brian Cage vs. “The Captain” Shawn Dean: Dean didn’t stand a chance against the Machine who dropped him on his dome with the Drill Claw for a quick win. After the bell, Taz called out Mox who gladly obliged him. 

“Boom Boom” Colt Cabana vs. “Le Champion” Chris Jericho: Jericho broke Boom Boom’s jaw with the Judas Effect to score the win. Jericho grabbed a mic after the match and called for “Iron” Mike Tyson’s blood.

Big Swole vs. “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose:  All it took was a single Beast Bomb to put Swole down for the count. 

TNT Championship Match: Jungle Boy vs. The TNT Champion: “The American Nightmare” Cody: Cody and Jungle Boy brawled for fifteen brutal minutes that saw the Champ get busted open. Despite the color, Cody retained his TNT Championship with the Cross Rhodes in his first title defense.
