NXT UK Results: A Classic Revisited

This week’s episode of NXT UK put a spotlight on the modern classic that was Tyler Bate vs. “Brusierweight” Pete Dunne over the United Kingdom Championship at TakeOver: Chicago. 2017 Match of the Year, and perhaps the greatest rematch of the modern era, it was great to get some insight into the mindset of both competitors at the time.

Matches: 

United Kingdom Championship Match: “Brusierweight” Pete Dunne vs. the United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate: NXT TakeOver: Chicago: Undoubtedly one of the best matches in NXT history. These boys went the distance but in the end, Bate’s tendency to go high-risk cost him his title. He missed a Suicide Dive and gave Dunne an opening to hit the Bitter End to begin his 685-day reign as the United Kingdom Champion.
