NXT UK was another round of Superstar picks of their favorite matches in WWE. This time, a classic from Wrestlemania Two, and a couple of modern NXT gems graced our screens.

“The Fashionista†Jinny: 6/28/17: NXT Women’s Championship Last Woman Standing Match: Nikki Cross vs. the NXT Women’s Champion: Asuka: Easily one of the most brutal matches on a weekly episode of NXT. The Champ Superplexed Cross through the announcer’s table and just barely made it up for the count of ten to retain her title.
Nina Samuels: Wrestlemania Two: 4/7/86: WWF Tag Team Championship Match: The Dream Team: Brutus “The Barber†Beefcake and Greg “The Hammer†Valentine w/ Johnny Valiant vs. The British Bulldogs: Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid w/ Ozzy Osbourne: The British Bulldogs made history by becoming the first British champions in WWF. Valentine and Dynamite Kid’s noggins collided, and Smith made the cover to earn the Tag Team gold.Â
Aoife Valkyrie: Beast in the East: 7/4/15:Â NXT Championship Match: Finn Balor vs. the NXT Champion: Kevin Owens: Balor came off like a superhero back in Japan where he was once known as Prince Devitt. The crowd came unglued when Balor pinned Owens with a Coup De Grace to become the new NXT Champion.

Hickey was also the Editor-In-Chief of two College Newspapers before he received his BA in Journalism from Brooklyn College. Hickey is also a contracted comic book writer, currently penning his original series, "Condrey," as well as "The Job," "Brooklyn Bleeds" "Dem Gulls" and "KROOM" for Legacy Comix, where he serves as founder, owner and Editor-in-Chief.
Hickey Jr. is also a voice actor, having starred in the 2018 indie hit and 2019 Switch, PS4 and Xbox One release, The Padre (also serving as English language Story Editor), from Shotgun With Glitters. The sequel, The Padre: One Shell Straight to Hell was released in February 2021- Hickey also served as a Story Editor and Lead Voiceover performer. He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
